Case Studies
No stock photos, no invented numbers. Here's exactly what we've built, and what it's actually done so far.
Serenity are our first client. They look after people's hair and beauty in Ayr. We look after everything behind the scenes.
People can book online whenever they want, even at night. They get a text to confirm, and another one to remind them before they come in. After their visit, they get asked to leave a review. Deposits are taken when they book.
The team get on with their job. We take care of the rest.
Bookings were handled manually across phone calls and walk-ins, with no central system tracking who was booked in for what, when, or with which stylist. No automated reminders meant no-shows were a regular cost. There was no way for clients to book outside opening hours.
A full online booking system covering all 47 services across all 5 stylists, live on their own custom booking domain. Booking confirmation texts, reminder texts, post-visit review requests, and deposits taken automatically at the point of booking.
Bookings now run themselves, any time of day, with reminders, deposits, and review requests all handled automatically. Their Google reviews doubled from 6 to 12 in the first month alone, with their name and hours now showing correctly across Google too.
SPAR Maybole is a busy local shop, fuel, Post Office, ATM, lottery, and a proper grocery shop all in one. Before Zell, they had no Facebook page at all, and two duplicate Google listings splitting their reviews in half.
We built them a Facebook page from scratch, logo, cover photo, bio, the lot. Every week we post fresh photos of what's actually in store, new stock, deals, whatever's worth knowing about, no stock images. We're merging their duplicate Google listings into one and fixing their business details so people find the right one. We're also getting them set up on Google Ads to bring in more searches locally.
Kevin gets on with running the shop. We keep the online side sorted.
No Facebook page at all, despite being a genuine daily destination for the whole town. On Google, two separate listings existed for the same shop, splitting reviews and confusing search results. Nobody was actively managing either.
A brand new Facebook Page from scratch, branding, photography, and a consistent weekly posting plan built around real in-store content, not stock imagery. In parallel, we identified and began merging the duplicate Google listings, corrected the business category and service listings, and started work on a Google Ads campaign to bring in local search traffic.
All of that from a standing start, with no ad spend at all, real organic local reach, not just talking to the same existing audience on repeat.
Sunset Glow Lounge is a tanning and beauty salon on Whitehall in Maybole, tanning beds, lash extensions, sculpted brows, facials, and more. Already 5 stars on Google, but like a lot of small salons, happy customers weren't always getting round to leaving a review.
Consistently 5-star service, but reviews were trickling in slowly. No easy way for a customer to leave one on the spot, before life got in the way and they forgot.
One NFC review card on the counter. Tap the card, straight to the Google review page, no app, no typing a link, no searching for the business by name.
Nearly doubled their review count in a single week, all 5 star, all from customers who were already happy, just needed the friction removed.
Real proof, one week apart, straight from Google:
Before, 9 reviews
One week later, 17 reviews
