About us
Three founders, one South Ayrshire agency, built to give small local businesses the same infrastructure the big players already have.
We're based right here in South Ayrshire, and we like it that way. When you work with us, you're not sending a support ticket into a call centre somewhere, you're speaking to one of the three of us directly, someone who already knows your business and your setup.
Before Zell, I spent four years as a Graduate Apprentice with Morrisons while studying Business Management at Strathclyde. I worked across every part of the store, then became Grocery Manager, followed by Project Manager, travelling across Scotland implementing Morrisons' Optic AI system store by store, before finishing as Online Manager. I've been on the other side of exactly this, rolling out new systems into a live, busy operation without disrupting the people using it. That's exactly what Zell does for smaller businesses, just without the corporate budget behind it.
I studied Business Management at Glasgow Caledonian, and I've spent the four years since building a genuinely broad grounding in how businesses actually work, not just the theory. I lead the commercial side of Zell, pricing, packaging, and making sure what we offer actually makes sense for the businesses we work with.
My background isn't the obvious one for this role, Sports Science and Nutrition, not business. But client relationships and disciplined process are exactly what that trains, keeping someone on a structured programme, tracking progress properly, and actually following through week to week rather than letting things slip. That's precisely what client management is, and it's why I own it at Zell.
